This website describes an app that hasn't launched yet, and lets you join a waitlist. These terms cover the website. They are not the terms for the app, which will have its own when it ships.
What this site is
A description of Plumi, an iPad notebook for GCSE and A-Level students, and a form to hear about it. Everything shown is the real app rather than a mock-up, but it is a product still being built: features described here can change before release, and some may not ship at all.
Nothing on this site is an offer, a contract or a promise to supply anything. There is no launch date on this site because we haven't set one, and there are no prices because none have been set.
Joining the waitlist
Joining costs nothing and gets you two emails: one when your course is ready, one when we launch. It doesn't reserve you a place, guarantee access, or entitle you to a price.
Use an address you actually control. Please don't put someone else's email in the form.
You can leave at any time by replying to any email from us. See the privacy page for what we hold and how to have it deleted.
If you're under 18
Most of the people this app is for are at school, and that's fine. The site is written for them. If you're under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before giving us your email address.
Using the site sensibly
Don't attack it, scrape it wholesale, or automate the form. The waitlist is rate-limited and repeated submissions will simply be refused.
What belongs to whom
The words, design, illustrations and code on this site are ours. You're welcome to link to it, quote it and screenshot it, including to argue with it.
AQA, OCR, Pearson Edexcel, WJEC and every other exam board named here are named because students take their qualifications. Their names and specifications belong to them. Plumi is not endorsed by, affiliated with or approved by any exam board, and we don't claim to be.
No guarantees about the site itself
The site is provided as it is. We try to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be up, or that everything described will ship exactly as described. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for loss arising from relying on a pre-launch marketing page.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Law and contact
TODO(founder): name the legal entity these terms are with, its registered address, and the governing law and courts (England and Wales is the expected answer, but it should be confirmed rather than assumed).
